and how to plan it
When a local accounting firm outgrew its aging PCs, they called us with one goal: keep everyone working while everything gets upgraded. We began with a quick audit—who needs power, who needs portability, and what software is mission-critical. From there we built a simple plan: reliable business-grade laptops and desktops, genuine licenses, and a clean deployment schedule that wouldn’t disrupt payroll week.
Preparation made the difference. We imaged devices in advance, created user accounts, set security policies, and staged backups. On day one, our team swapped machines desk by desk, migrated files, connected printers and scanners, and verified email, accounting software, and shared drives. Each person received a five-minute handover so they could get right back to work.
Support kept it stress-free. After installation, we monitored performance, pushed updates, and stayed on call for questions. A couple of RAM upgrades and one Wi-Fi tweak later, their systems were faster, boot times were shorter, and downtime dropped to near zero.
